Whenever my friends whisper "Bogota", it leaves me feeling blank for a moment or two.
Embracing the life of a traveler leaves more pages to be filled out and one of these: "Where indeed is Bogota?"
As the Capital City of Colombia, Bogota has the midpoint of power among all its provinces. It is also a state of 9M people seated next to Ecuador, Brazil, Peru and Venezuela. The continent is squared by the Hispanic culture and beliefs but throughout the decades, the English language has finally made it to the second base.
It has been remarkable as the numbers continue to rise with regards to the number of English Speakers and plentifully, you will never get lost in the wilderness of a foreign country--most especially in Bogota, Colombia. Though using kinesthetics, sign language and non-verbal language are all part of the fun, but clear out your doubts for now. A lot of travelers like you have already gave it a shot and some of them even chose to stay. Amidst erring news on the dangers of visiting this country (wherever you go, danger is always coupled to it), Bogota remains to be stunning in its vast structures and night lights.
We all are given a limited time (per year) to be ourselves, or perhaps, to wander like free men without ever texting your boss on your whereabouts. Now, what I want you to do is to at least do yourself a favor and visit Bogota. It surely is worth it.
